Psychologist Trained in Behavioral Therapy
I am a Clinical and Health Psychologist with a background in psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral orientation, trained at Eötvös Loránd University. To deepen my expertise, I completed my Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy(CBT) Therapist training with Prof. Dr. Ebru Şalcıoğlu and pursued additional training in regression therapy. Currently, I continue my PhD studies in Affective-Behavioral Psychology while also receiving Systemic Family Therapy training.
My work focuses on emotion regulation, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, chronic pain& ilnesses, burnout & stress, trauma, early life experiences, parent-infant relationships, family dynamics, and life transitions. I also integrate psychoneuroendocrinology and psychosomatization into my approach, bridging mind and body in therapy. As a certified yoga and mindfulness instructor, I incorporate mind-body techniques when beneficial.
I provide my sessions in English and Turkish, supporting adults through emotional difficulties, major life transitions, and adaptation to new environments. Having experienced immigration myself, I deeply understand the emotional challenges of starting over in a new country. My approach is personalized, evidence-based, and compassionate, helping you increase self-awareness, overcome obstacles, and cultivate stability and fulfillment.
